New Delhi. The International Cricket Council (ICC) is set to announce the matches for the 2022 T20 World Cup in Australia on January 21. At the same time, the sale of tickets for the World Cup matches will start from February 7. The upcoming edition of the T20 World Cup will be the eighth. The ICC T20 World Cup event started in 2007. ICC T20 World Cup 2022 will be played in Australia this time.

The 2022 T20 World Cup event, to be held from October 16 to November 13, will host 45 matches across seven venues – Adelaide, Brisbane, Geelong, Hobart, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney, while the final will be hosted by the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG). I will be under the lights. The semi-finals will be hosted on 13 November 2022 at Sydney Cricket Ground and Adelaide Oval on 9 and 10 November respectively.

After the success of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup in 2020 and after a two-year postponement, we are now looking forward to planning the 2022 event in collaboration with the LoC.

He further said, “12 teams have already been confirmed in the line-up. We eagerly await the conclusion of the qualification process to see which other teams will join them.” ICC said in its statement, “The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022 is less than 11 months away and fans can soon start preparing for their World Cup experience with the full fixture to be announced on January 21, 2022 . With the announcement, fans will be able to plan which matches they want to attend and where they want to go before tickets go on sale to the public on February 7, 2022.”
