IND vs SA 3rd Test: Virat Kohli and fellow players lost their cool in Cape Town Test, expressed disappointment on stump mic when Dean Elgar was not out

New Delhi. The Indian team defeated South Africa in the third and deciding Test match of the series (IND vs SA 3rd Test) has given a target of 212 runs to win. Team India’s second innings was reduced to 198 runs. Captain on the third day of this match being played in Cape Town Virat Kohli (Virat Kohli) and his teammates lost their cool during the last 45 minutes of play when rival captain Dean Elgar avoided returning to the pavilion due to a controversial DRS decision.

In the 21st over of the South African innings Ravichandran Ashwin Elgar was a clear leg-barrier off the ball but replays showed that the ball was passing over the stumps. Kohli, however, was not happy with the DRS’s decision and other Indian players also expressed their displeasure over it. Ashwin also couldn’t stop himself from taking a dig at the broadcaster’s ball-tracking technique, saying, ‘Supersport – you must find better ways to win.’ To this, Kohli said, ‘Not only on the opposing team, pay attention to your team as well. Efforts are being made all the time to nab people.

By the end of the third day’s play, South Africa scored 101 for 2 wickets. He is now 111 runs behind the target. The three-match series is currently tied at 1-1. Whichever team wins the Cape Town Test, will also capture the series.
