Yes, there is a report that PUBG 2 can be launched at the end of next year in 2022. This information has been revealed by Lexter PlayerIGN on Twitter. The tweet reads, ‘PUBG has confirmed the release date of PUBG Mobile 2 for this year and for next year 2022 for PUBG PC and Console games. According to the previous report, the name of the PC and console game could be PUBG2.

Lexter on Twitter said that Crafton discussed upgrading PUBG to Unreal Engine 5 in an internal meeting. His post also mentions a work-in-progress game named X1. Apart from this, information has also been received by Nvidia that Crafton is working on a game, which is currently being called ‘X1’.
