In the 2014 Lok Sabha elections Prime Minister Narendra Modi Veerbhadra Sahni, who was the proponent of the project, died on Thursday evening. it is being told that Virbhadra Sawhney Died of heart failure. He breathed his last at his residence at Shivala Ghat in Varanasi. Virbhadra was 95 years old. Prime Minister Narendra Modi had announced to contest the Lok Sabha elections from Varanasi in the year 2014. For this, he had selected four proposers, of which Virbhadra Sani was also one.

Virbhadra Sahni’s health was deteriorating for a few days. The family members of Virbhadra Sahni, father of six sons and two daughters, told that his health had suddenly deteriorated on Wednesday. Doctors were called in view of his health, but he passed away. On Thursday, a funeral procession took place from his residence for Harishchandra Ghat, where his elder son lit the fire. As soon as the information about the death of Virbhadra Sahni was received, there was an influx of people paying tribute to him. A large number of BJP leaders and workers were also involved in this. Those who expressed condolences included BJP Cantt MLA Saurabh Srivastava, in-charge of the Prime Minister’s Parliamentary Office Shivsharan Pathak, Councilor Rajesh Yadav Challu, Ravindra Singh Rajiv Yadav and other BJP leaders. The relatives told that the wife of Virbhadra Sahni had already passed away.
