At the same time, Swami Prasad Maurya, who broke ties with the BJP after the FIR was registered against the SP workers, said that first a case should be registered against Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, because he Had khichdi with thousands of people in Gorakhpur on Friday. During this, there was a violation of the Kovid guidelines.

Meanwhile, on Friday, several BJP MLAs, including Swami Prasad Maurya and Dr Dharam Singh Saini, who were part of CM Yogi’s cabinet, joined the party in the presence of SP chief Akhilesh Yadav. There was a huge crowd in the same SP office. The Lucknow Police has registered an FIR against around 2500 Samajwadi Party leaders under sections 188, 269, 270 and 341 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) along with relevant sections of the Epidemic Diseases Act. According to the Lucknow Police, many leaders including Akhilesh also gave speeches during this program and the evidence of the crowd has been seen in the video footage.

Swami Prasad Maurya said that on the occasion of Makar Sankranti on Friday, a large number of devotees had reached Gorakhnath temple in Gorakhpur to offer Khichdi. During this social distancing was not being followed, so a case should be registered against CM Yogi first. However, during this time, CM Yogi had also appealed to the crowd to follow the rules of Corona Protocol.

Let us inform that on Friday (January 14), Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had attended a co-bhoj organized at the house of Dalit Amritlal Bharti at Jhungia Gate in Gorakhpur. He had eaten khichdi while sitting on the ground following the Kovid protocol. During this, the Chief Minister was served khichdi in the plate and water was given in the kulhad to drink.
