Judge Uttam Anand Case: ‘CBI could not detect the big conspiracy’, HC orders to present narco report

Ranchi. In the suspicious death of Dhanbad District Court Judge Uttam Anand, the Jharkhand High Court again reprimanded the CBI and asked it to find out the deep conspiracy behind it. Along with this, the court has rejected the angle of murder by pushing to snatch the mobile from Judge Anand. Chief Justice of Jharkhand High Court Dr Ravi Ranjan and Justice S. N. Prasad’s division bench, while hearing the matter, said that murder with the intention of mobile phone snatching is not acceptable.

The court said that nowhere does it appear from the CCTV footage attached to it that the auto driver along with his associate killed the judge with the aim of snatching the mobile phone only. If so why didn’t they rob the phone? On this, the CBI investigating officer said that the bikes were coming from both the sides while pushing the judge from the auto, so the auto driver did not rob the phone for fear of being caught.

Mobile angle court rejected
The High Court said that this claim or apprehension of the CBI is not true. CBI is preparing a new story to take time. The bench directed the CBI to submit both the narco, brain mapping test reports of the auto driver and his associate in this case in a sealed cover. The next hearing of the case will now take place on January 21.

Judge’s death should not become an unsolved riddle
The High Court said that in this case, we have been apprehending from the beginning that the death of the judge should not remain as an unsolved puzzle. Now this matter is going in that direction. This shows so much delay in investigation and collection of evidence. The CBI has filed a charge sheet in the murder case, but could not detect the conspiracies, it will only help the accused.

High Court is monitoring the investigation
It is worth noting that Dhanbad judge Uttam Anand died on July 28 last year during a morning walk after a collision with an auto near Randhir Verma Chowk in the city. CCTV footage of this incident also surfaced. Taking serious note of the death of Dhanbad judge Uttam Anand in a road accident, the Jharkhand High Court converted it into a public interest litigation.

It should also be mentioned here that before the CBI, the SIT of Jharkhand Police was investigating the case. The Supreme Court, while hearing the death of Judge Uttam Anand, had directed the CBI to submit the status report of the investigation to the Jharkhand High Court every week. The High Court is monitoring the investigation.
