Jharkhand Weather Update: Chances of rain in these districts of Jharkhand on Makar Sankranti, will continue till 17

Ranchi. Due to the cold winds coming from the north direction, Jharkhand is in the grip of cold wave. The mercury has dropped to 5 degrees in many districts of the state. On Makar Sankranti i.e. January 14, light to moderate rain can be seen at some places in the southern part of the state. Along with this, the temperature may drop by 2 to 4 degrees. Because of this, there is a possibility of increasing cold.

The people of Jharkhand, who are troubled by rain, hailstorm and thunderstorms for the last several days, are going to get relief. There is a possibility of getting relief from rain in many parts of the state as soon as the effect of Western Disturbance subsides in the state. But on January 14, light to moderate rain can be seen at some places over the southern part of the state.

Ranchi Meteorological Center scientist Abhishek Anand said that on January 15, 16 and 17, the weather will be dry in the state and the temperature will see a drop of 2 to 4 degrees. The cold winters will trouble the people again in the state. Along with this, there is a possibility of light to moderate fog in the state in the morning.

According to the Meteorological Department, the temperature will drop by 3 to 4 degrees in the next 24 hours in most parts of the state. According to the information received from the Meteorological Center, due to the cold wind coming from the north due to snowfall in the Himalayan region, the minimum temperature dropped below 5 degrees in more than half a dozen districts of the state. It was told that during the next 24 hours, the minimum temperature in the northern and central parts of Jharkhand may go down by one to two degrees and in the eastern and western Singhbhum districts, Seraikela-Kharsawan and Simdega in the southern part by three to four degrees.
