Shimla. After snowfall in Himachal Pradesh last week, the weather is clear now. People have got relief from the cold due to the bright sunshine in the day. But due to the melting of snow, the morning and evening are more cold. The Meteorological Department has again expressed the possibility of snowfall and rain in the state. However, the weather will remain clear in the plains of the state. Even on Saturday, there is sunshine across the state. Atal Tunnel has been connected to Manali. But this road has not been opened for the vehicles of the common people.
According to the Meteorological Center Shimla, from January 17 to January 19, there may be rain and snow in some parts of the central and high hills. The weather will be clear in the plains. Even after nine days of heavy snowfall in many areas of the state, life has not been able to get back on track. People in many snowy areas of Kullu, Kinnaur and Lahaul-Spiti are deprived of transport services, electricity and water. Till Friday evening, 120 routes of the Transport Corporation were affected due to the closure of 228 roads in the state.

NH-3 Sarchu and Manali Kaza NH-505 are closed from Manali to Leh. Highway-305 connecting Jalori holding in Kullu is closed. Roads in rural areas along with main roads in Lahaul are also blocked by snowfall. In Shimla, the movement of Transport Corporation buses has started for Chaupal, Reckong Peo and Nerwa.
Heavy fall in mercury in Keylong
Snow is melting since the sunshine in Keylong, Lahaul-Spiti. In such a situation, the mercury is continuously falling there. The mercury minus 15.2 degrees has been recorded here on Saturday. Compared to the previous day, the mercury has dropped by five degrees here. Here the maximum mercury is also running in minus. The highest temperature of 19.5 degree has been recorded in Bilaspur.
