PM Modi Security Breach: After all, Punjab CM Channi expressed regret, said to PM Modi – you stay safe till doom…

New Delhi. of Punjab during the review meeting of Kovid-19 with Chief Ministers CM Charanjit Singh Channi (Punjab CM Charanjit Singh Channi) Expressed regret to Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the matter of security lapse. He wished Modi a long life. Channi said, ‘We respect you. You came to Punjab and we are sorry for what happened during that visit. I just want to narrate a couplet for you, ‘You remain safe till doom, and God bless you with no doom.’

CM Charanjit Singh Channi did not directly mention the security lapse. He did not even talk about the road blockade by the protesting farmers near Ferozepur. Significantly, Prime Minister Modi was in Punjab to dedicate projects worth Rs 42,000 crore and reached Bathinda, from where he was on a helicopter to the National Martyrs Memorial at Hussainiwala. Due to rain and poor visibility, the prime minister had waited for about 20 minutes for the weather to clear. When the weather did not improve, it was decided that the Prime Minister would go to the National Martyrs Memorial by road, which would have taken more than two hours. When the Prime Minister’s convoy reached a flyover, about 30 km from the National Martyrs Memorial at Hussainiwala, it was found that some protesters had blocked the road. The Prime Minister was stuck on the flyover for 15-20 minutes. This was a big lapse in the security of the Prime Minister.

However, earlier in a conversation with a TV news channel, CM Charanjit Singh Channi had said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi was going to travel by air but due to rain, the plan was changed. After this, the convoy of PM Modi left from Bhatinda towards Firozpur by road. But there was no information about this in advance. I had asked the farmers to end the ongoing protest on all routes by 3 am. All the roads were opened till Wednesday morning. Till that time there was no plan to leave the PM’s convoy by road. If we had been informed about this in advance, we would have made better arrangements.

Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi had said that the road through which PM Modi’s vehicles were passing. Somebody had parked the car there. Because of this the Prime Minister’s convoy was stopped. It was natural for this to happen, there is no case of security lapse in it.
