Guwahati-Bikaner Express Accident: There was a sudden jolt and the train overturned on sight, the passenger’s eyesight

New Delhi. Guwahati-Bikaner Express 15633 (Up) (Guwahati-Bikaner Express) derailed near Domohani (West Bengal) at around 5 pm on Thursday. An eyewitness to it and a person traveling in the same train said that there was a loud jolt first and then several bogies derailed. According to sources, a relief train has also been dispatched to the accident site. Jalpaiguri district administration said that the injured passengers have been admitted to the hospital in Maynaguri.

This passenger told that he is a resident of Jalpaiguri and was going to Guwahati in connection with work. When the train reached between New Domohani and New Maynaguri station, the accident happened at around 5 pm. He told that some bogies overturned. Some bogies went off the track and clashed with each other. There were passengers in all these bogies. The passenger said that the death toll could be higher. Thankfully he didn’t even get injured.

The witness of the accident told that he was in S-12, the front and rear bogies of the express derailed and many passengers must have been badly injured in them. Due to the derailment of this train going from Bikaner to Guwahati (Bikaner Express Accident), three people have died and there have also been reports of many people getting injured. Relief and rescue work is going on at the spot.
