Food Desk: Sawan is going to start from July 25. In this holy month, most people give up meat. There is a scientific reason behind this besides religious faith but if you are also a non-veg lover and are missing meat then today we are going to tell you how to make veg omelette. This omelette tastes exactly like an egg but does not contain an egg. To make this wedge omelette you need …
1 bowl gram flour
3 tsp flour
1/3 teaspoon baking powder
1 finely chopped onion
Finely chopped coriander as required
2 finely chopped green chillies
Butter for baking as required
Salt to taste
1/3 teaspoon red chillies
To make a vegetarian eggless omelette, first take gram flour in a bowl.
Now mix flour and baking powder in it. Add salt and red chilli powder to taste. Then add water and make a little thick solution.
Now add finely chopped onion, green chillies and green coriander in this solution.
You have to keep in mind that the solution should be neither too thick nor too thin.
Now put butter in a pan and then spread two tablespoons of the solution in it. Cook it on one side till golden. When it is cooked on one side, turn it over on the other side.
When it turns golden on both sides, serve it in a hot plate with green chutney and enjoy the veg omelette in the summer.
