Ghaziabad. The identified black spots will end soon to reduce road accidents in the district. The ADG Traffic and Road Safety of the state has given instructions to the Ghaziabad administration. Along with this, the places where there is jam, have been asked to bring relief from the jam by making changes. The district administration will have to submit the report to the ADP after getting the work done. The administration has given orders to the agencies concerned to start work.
ADG Traffic and Road Safety Jyoti Narayan inspected the black spots and jam-affected places marked by the police in Kaushambi, adjacent to the Delhi border. During this, he discussed with the officials of the Traffic Police and Transport Department and instructed to end the jam by making an effective plan. He said that care should be taken in the plan that along with smooth traffic there should be reduction in road accidents.
The ADG inspected the high pressure places of the vehicles. Asked to make a plan to eliminate the jam here. Apart from this, he reviewed the work done by the traffic police at the place of black spot and coordinated with the concerned departments and directed to get the rest of the work done soon, so that the accidents are brought down.
The ADG directed the ARTO and traffic police to take effective action against 10 year old diesel and 15 year old petrol vehicles in view of the order of NGT and Supreme Court. He said that more and more such vehicles should be seized, so that effective prevention can be done on air pollution.
