RRB NTPC CBT 2: More than seven lakh candidates have been selected by the Railways for 35,281 posts of Non-Technical Popular Category (NTPC). On behalf of the Railways, it was said that the selection of candidates at each level was done separately, which is based on their educational qualification and options. 20 times more candidates have been called for each stage of Computer Based Test (CBT) as compared to the vacancies of each RRB (Railway Recruitment Board).

It was also informed that if several candidates have secured the same marks on the cut-off, then all are called. On the basis of the merit obtained in the second stage CBT, candidates will be shortlisted for the third stage examination, in which eight times the number of candidates will be called against the number of vacancies. The final result will list 35,281 vacancies.

It was told by the Railways that the candidate selected for the higher level post cannot be debarred from appearing in the second stage CBT of the lower level post. The CBT-2 exam will be conducted on February 14 and 18 this year. RRB may release RRB NTPC Admit Card for CBT-2 by the last week of January 2022.
